I need a new flat iron and i’ve been doing research and stuff trying to find a good one. I looked at the Chi Pink Dazzle one but lots of people say they aren’t worth it. Is is true? An what other kinds of hair straightners would you recommend?

Answer by kittenkatt79 I’m not familiar with the Chi Pink Dazzle (sounds a little silly to me), but, for the price I do like Chi irons. I have the original Chi and would recommend that or the Chi Turbo, which has a temperature control. You can get these on drugstore.com or amazon.com for around -100. Keep in mind that you don’t get the Chi warranty when you buy from these sites. Chi’s warranty is only effective if you buy from a licensed salon or beauty retailer (you will pay about 0). I bought my Chi about a year ago from drugstore.com for – I absolutely LOVE IT!
If you’re willing to spend more (up to 0+) GHD and Infrashine are also wonderful flat irons.

Question by naomi d: My Babyliss Flat Iron isn’t Heating up; How can I Fix it?
My Flat iron is an older silver ceramic professional flat iron. It is thicker than the newer styles, purchased in 2004. When I turn on the ON button, it still has the red light on, it just doesn’t heat up.

Answer by AGT The heating element is shot Honey, so there’s nothing you can do! A bummer since I’m sure you love it! Unfortunately, you’re just going to have to throw it away and get a new one! Good luck to you!
PS CHI makes a TERRIFIC straightener, but they’re really expensive. I can’t afford one personally, but I’ve used my friend’s and it’s awesome! (They run about 9.00) In the more affordable range is one that’s made by WIGO, it’s called “ultimate jade” and it has real jade as the heated plates instead of ceramic or metal. (It costs around .00) My daughter loves hers, and we bought it at TJ Maxx. Hope this helps!! Take care!
