I just bought a mini iron to straighten my hair, which is short to medium length, but it became puffy when I used it!!! Why is that?

is this the first time you’ve used a straighter?
wallmart-conair infinity straightner 20-30 bucks i think, works great, try that rather than these mini straightners they arent that great they are good for touchups only so yeah if you want a mini straighter u gotta spend $$$ for a good one you know

I dont want to pay 200 dolla for a chi flat iron when i can get one that works just as well and is cheaper too. I dont think my mom is willing to pay either considering i am really the only one who straightens my hair on a regular basis.

Answer by Miss boop They are best for touchups. Because they dnt cover much area. Unless u have 25mins extra time than what u do with a normal size straightener, use one

I LOVE it flat iron my hair but i dont know if it looks okay when it is like completely flat i have lots of fun flippy layers and side-swept bangs. I just want your opinion on how my hair should look when it comes to flat ironing it.
P.S= i have blond hair and it is i little past shoulder lenght.
