Question by Prosecutor Von Karma: Which type of Chi flat iron would work best for me?
There are so many different types, I’m not sure which one to choose. My hair is very thick, wavy, and long. A normal flat iron can’t straighten it. Which of the Chi irons will work best for me?

Answer by John Whatever you decide… Do Not purchase a used one.
I was just wondering what other people’s opinions were that have used any of these irons, since I’ve been seeing some mixed reviews and these are the flat irons I’m interested in buying.
Also in response to the answers I just got, the reason I didn’t list the chi was that I heard they break really easily. Is that true?
I’m half black, half white, so my hair is really thick and curly, and dries out easily. I was wondering what flat iron/straightening iron would work best for my type of hair, and also what type of hair products I could use to minimize damage to my hair. I keep my hair straight all the time, mainly because if I don’t my hair looks fairly scary.
Currently I’ll flat iron my hair, then not wet it for 2 or 3 days, then wash it, condition it, then re-flat iron it.
Whats the best flat iron I could use? The best hair products I could use? and is there any other way to minimize damage to my hair?
I went to the salon with my g-ma today and her hairdresser mentioned that he got the most amazing hair straightner. She said it doesn’t strip/fry your hair like other straightners and that it eliminates frizz/breakage. So now I’m on the website (http://www.fhiiron.com/index.php) thinking of buying one. Is it the official site btw?
So for people who own/owned one. Would you recommend it? Details are great. thanks =]
Also I noticed there’s a lot of them. Which one would you recommend most for relaxed hair? Thanks =]
